*Yawns*
So tired... but such a wonderful day together with Huw :-)
He just dropped me off back home and is driving back... He's so so lovely. Don't think he'll ever know how much I appreciate the things he does for me, from driving me home so we can spend more time together, to supporting me and building up my confidence. He just... is so fantastic.
*big squeezy hugs for him*
It was a great day - always have a brilliant time with him :-)
I got up at 7.30, and caught the 809 down to Southampton. I meant to revise on the train... but you can't revise at half 8 in the morning! He met me at the train station (for the first time :-)) and we went off into town. We wandered around John Lewis, were shocked at the ridiculous prices and the crazy fashions, we (yes, we!) spent some time awwwing at the cute baby clothes, and then went into Dorothy Perkins (I love that shop!) and found a nummy white shirt for a certain outfit we've talked about for a fair while... We also ended up discussing suspenders, hehe, which we think could complete this outfit *nods* We then heard some Celene Dion song being played... At least it was instrumental :-P Collected his new glasses from Specsavers and then had a scrummy Subway, where I actually made my mind up fairly quickly! Shocking.
I seem to remember being tickled on the way back to the car... so many tickles I can't remember them all! Evil Huw! I also remember some talk about octopus sex in the carpark...
Once we were home we watc... well, started watching some Friends dvds up in Huw's room but ended up having a LOT more fun, hehe, mmmmmm.... *drifts off into ponderings* but I won't go into details :-P
His parents (who I get on well with, hurrah!) and us drove to Branksome Beach near Poole (using Huw's cool new GPS/PDA!). We had a quick wander on the beach and it was gorgeous and sunny. It was so beautiful with a blue sky, and lovely blue sea - horizontal strips of sand, sea and then sky. Then we went to a cafe where they had a gorgeous platter of sandwiches and scones and cakes which was extremely yummy... We had to order more scones to satisfy everyone's scone need :-P Mmm, with jam and cream, so delicious!
After that, we went for a walk down the beach, walking along the edge of the water. Lots of adorable cute kids splashing around, or building sandcastles - awwwww :-P We went in a bit deeper into the water and Huw ended up getting his trousers wet, hehe. Even though he'd rolled them up - so cool!! :-P - it still splashed up. I was clever and wearing a skirt :-P Then we went and sat on some steps, our feet in the sand, and cuddled up and enjoyed being together in the sun. I brushed the sand off of his legs (don't know why I'm mentioning that exactly but I just remember it vividly for some reason!).
During all of these things is crazy silly conversation btw. That's really a given with us two :-P
We then drove off to Poole and, parked. In the car park, Huw was picking me up and carrying me and I was giggling/laughing/screaming and getting very strange looks but it was fun! We then went and watched some of the ships (Huw wants a boat! (gah! I can't remember the name! Something "seeker"....)). Before that, he bought some Lemon Sherbets but I'll get back to that, heh. Then we went to a nice restaurant/pub and sat outside. It was a lovely atmosphere and the food was lovely too. I had some scrummy (real!) meatballs and Huw had the infamous lemon sole (which was the main reason we went there) which didn't quite live up to hopes (there wasn't enough!) but was still tasty :-) We all talked about much, including hearing about eating brains and chicken feet from Huw's dad :-P
After that, we drove back to Southampton. Here was where the Sherbet Lemon Plan was created, or discussed (maybe Huw thought of this before? I don't know...). Basically... Huw's going to be the Sherbet Lemon Man! His grandchildren will jump up and down when they hear they're visiting him because they know they'll get sherbet lemons... That'll be his "thing". People in cafes will say "hey! it's that sherbet lemon guy!". In bars or pubs, they'll say the same thing but replacing "guy" with "dude". Just... because. To do this, he's going to order one of those big sweetie jars from this website of the shop where he got the sherbet lemons.
Huw's also gonna be the crazy cat man who shoots kittens from his sleeves but that's a whole other thing....
We then pretty much had to set off driving back here straight away, and the conversation went onto many topics - one about how I was a dream girlfriend (said in silly and serious ways, both making me all smiley), one about all the places we'd like to visit and all the stuff we'd like to do together... Can't wait for our future together to go travelling and share all these experiences together :-)
All in all, a great day and I can't wait to be with him again :-)
There's probably so many other little things I could include (Huw - feel free!) but that's all in my head right now *nods*
Oh, I love him so much. He's just so... so incredible, and so right for me, and so good for me! He makes me so very happy :-)
